Giving Societies

The Founders Society
The original members of the Founders Society contributed the initial funds that began our Foundation and many provided the essential leadership for the Foundation's beginning.

The Society continues to grow with donors who give at least $5,000, cumulative, to the Catholic Foundation Endowment Fund. Gifts to this fund help offset the costs of providing the planned giving and administrative services of the many funds and grants programs at the Foundation.

To express our gratitude, we provide the following benefits to the members of the Founders Society:

• Recognition at our annual Deo Gratias Mass and Luncheon with the Archbishop.
• A small spiritual gift to express our appreciation.
• A “Deo Gratias” lapel pin.
• An invitation each year to submit prayer requests for your loved ones to be prayed at the daily masses during Lent in the St. Dominic Chapel at the Catholic Center.
• With your permission, recognition in the Foundation's Annual Report.
• After your passing, continued prayers for you at the Deo Gratias mass each year.

The Deo Gratias Society
The Deo Gratias Society was established to recognize those individuals who have notified the Catholic Foundation that they have made arrangements for a future gift in a will or estate plan to the Catholic Foundation, to any of its funds, to a parish, a Catholic school, or the Archdiocese. The Society also includes donors who have given $5,000 or more during their lifetime to an existing fund or to create a new fund.

We chose the name “Deo Gratias” for our legacy society because “Thanks be to God,” clearly indicates the thankfulness we feel for the generosity of the donors who have included the Catholic Foundation in their estate plans. Also, we realize that, for many of our donors, the decision to leave a Catholic legacy is a special act of thanksgiving to God for His many blessings.

To express our gratitude, we provide the following benefits to the members of the Deo Gratias Society:

• Recognition at our annual Deo Gratias Mass and Luncheon with the Archbishop.
• A “Deo Gratias” lapel pin.
• An invitation each year to submit prayer requests for your loved ones to be prayed at the daily masses during Lent in the St. Dominic Chapel at the Catholic Center.
• With your permission, recognition in the Foundations Annual Report.
• After your passing, continued prayers for you at the Deo Gratias mass each year.

Friends of the Foundation and the Oak Tree Society
Friends of the Foundation are donors who contribute gifts to the annual fund in support of the Foundation's operations. We welcome any level of gift and are thankful to these Friends for supporting this valuable ministry in our community.

Twenty-five percent of all gifts to the annual fund are used to grow the Catholic Foundation's Operating Endowment Fund to support the future operational expenses of the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia.

The Oak Tree Society, in honor of our logo, recognizes Friends of the Foundation who give $2,500 or more in one year to the annual fund. We greatly appreciate these gifts which help pay for the planned giving and professional management services of the Foundation.

Friends of the Foundation and members of the Oak Tree Society will be recognized each year in the Foundation's Annual Report. Also, Oak Tree Society members receive an invitation each year to submit prayer requests for your loved ones to be prayed at the daily masses during Lent in the St. Dominic Chapel at the Catholic Center.

“I give thanks to my God at every remembrance of you, praying always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the gospel from the first day until now. ”
